Northwest Pipe Company's Water Transmission Group Awarded Section 10-11 of the Integrated Pipeline Project

VANCOUVER, WA -- (Marketwired) -- 10/19/16 -- Northwest Pipe Company (NASDAQ: NWPX), an industry leader of engineered welded steel pipe products for the water transmission market, was selected to provide 66,900 feet of 84-inch diameter, cement mortar lined and polyurethane coated pipe for Section 10-11 of the Integrated Pipeline ("IPL") in North Central Texas. The construction contract of this segment has been awarded to IPL Partners (a venture between Oscar Renda Contracting, Southland Contracting, and Johnson Brothers Corporation) of Roanoke, Texas. Installation is anticipated to be substantially complete by November 2017. The pipeline will transport raw water and provide new infrastructure capacity for the area and is jointly owned by Tarrant Regional Water District and Dallas Water Utilities.
