Northwest Pipe Company's Water Transmission Group Awarded Segment 14 of the Integrated Pipeline Project

VANCOUVER, WA -- (Marketwired) -- 01/11/16 -- Northwest Pipe Company (NASDAQ: NWPX), an industry leader of engineered welded steel pipe products for water and wastewater systems, was selected to provide 78,642 feet of 108-inch diameter, cement mortar lined and polyurethane coated pipe for Segment 14 of the Integrated Pipeline ("IPL") in North Central Texas. The construction contract of this segment has been awarded to Garney Construction of Kansas City, Missouri, and the installation is anticipated to be substantially complete by June 2017. The pipeline will transport raw water and provide new infrastructure capacity for the area and is jointly owned by Tarrant Regional Water District and Dallas Water Utilities.
